Google

     Google for years has been a favorite search engine for a lot of people. Lately, they have divulged in new technology that I would never fathom.  I never would have thought that Google would try and sell them self as someone trying to make it in the cable world, however; they have. The new thing that Google is trying to sell people on is that they can look up TV show on the web and they will show what they have. With Netflix, Amazon, and people's favorite, the DVR, I would think that they would stay away from cable. It has not gone well with it so far, but sooner than later people around the world will give in and start using that product. This should bring up the question, is Google to powerful? Well, for me, I only use Google for a search engine. My main goal while on the website is to get research for ideas for art or for a paper. Others think totally different when new technology comes out. The problem is us, as Americans, we are so use to trying new technology when it comes out, and that is what Google thrives on. Why stop making products when they know that people are going to try them out. As Americans we shouldn't give into the power of Google or even new technology, and start going outside like we were kids. Back before this generation of technology most people went outside to play and didn't stay in to do stuff on Google. Why go have fun outside and maybe get a little exercise when I can play a game on Google. That is why we shouldn't allow Google to have such a big part in our lives.
